Mäkelä Alu has received advance notification of possible labour strike action for the period 14–23 January 2022 that may affect our deliveries during weeks 3–4.
Due to the threat of a strike by the Industrial Union, we have to anticipate a decrease in production capacity for the above-mentioned period.
For this reason, our delivery times may be longer than usual. Orders confirmed for these weeks may be delayed with respect to the planned schedule.
If the Industrial Union decides not to go ahead with strike action, we will deliver confirmed orders ahead of time in the order of date of delivery.
We will do our best to minimise the impact of the possible strike.
