Mäkelä Alu standard profiles
Standard profiles are suitable for various construction and industrial applications. They are used in support structures, shelves and frames, façade elements, and various railings.
The lightness, durability, and corrosion resistance of aluminium profiles make them ideal for both indoor and outdoor use. We offer a wide selection of standard profiles. The standard length of the profiles is 6 metres, but customers can also order aluminium profiles in custom lengths. In general, all aluminium alloys used by Mäkelä Alu are suitable for these profiles, but we recommend confirming the suitability of the alloy with our sales team.
Standard profiles provide cost-effective, ready-made solutions for various needs and are available in multiple shapes and sizes.
Most common aluminium standard profiles:
- Flat bars: Rectangular profiles used in structures requiring smooth and wide surfaces.
- U-profiles: U-shaped profiles suitable for edge protection and structural support.
- Square and rectangular tubes: Hollow profiles that provide lightness and strength, ideal for frame structures.
- L-profiles: L-shaped profiles used for reinforcing corners and joints.
- T-profiles: T-shaped profiles that function as dividers or connectors in structures.
- Round tubes: Cylindrical profiles commonly used in railings and pipe structures.
