Mäkelä Alu Oy has purchased the entire share stock of its long-term partner in cooperation, Vivadec Oy. The ownership of both the company and its operations will be transferred to Mäkelä Alu Oy. Many of our customers are already familiar with Vivadec Oy’s Decoral surfacing method. Decoral achieves an eye-catching and durable surface for aluminium profiles, resembling wood, stone, or almost any kind of pattern you want.
“For customers, the purchase will mean an even more diverse and flexible range of services. The Decoral surfacing will be added to the AluCoating® surface treatment service concept,” explains Mäkelä Alu Oy’s managing director Markku Välimäki.
The decision concerning the potential fusion of Vivadec Oy with Mäkelä Alu Oy will be made in late 2017.
